A Distraction on a Dark Night
It was very late at night, and I was driving alone in my car with my infant daughter in the backseat. I was on a rural road, headed back home after visiting my parents’ house. My parents know I always takes the rural route to get home after a visit. When I visit, my parents have a habit of always waving me off by saying, “Watch out for deer.”
That night, for just a moment, I became distracted fiddling with the radio. In that instant, I wasn’t watching the road as I should have been.
A Sudden Premonition
Suddenly I heard a voice that sounded a lot like my father yelling, “Watch out for deer!” I immediately looked up just in time to see a large deer standing in the road! I was barely able to slow and swerve to avoid hitting it.
The “voice” saved my baby and me from a car crash.
The experience really shook me up at the time. But now I feel safe and protected, knowing that an angel is watching out for me!
